Summary

Researchers identified a novel gene exclusively expressed in activated human T lymphocytes using cDNA cloning. This gene, isolated from phytohemagglutinin A (PHA) and 12-O-tetradecanoyl phorbol 13-acetate (TPA) stimulated cells, may play a role in T cell activation.
