An ACLS laboratory rotation for undergraduate medical students
Annals of Emergency Medicine
|April 1, 1983
Abstract:
The ACLS laboratory rotation described is an efficient and reliable training mechanism for insuring a high certification rate while maintaining the quality control mandated by the national AHA standards. Additionally the rotation requires fewer instructors than are usually needed for a full weekend course. Furthermore, the rotation provides for scheduling flexibility--an absolute must in the medical school curriculum. We believe that this report will serve as a useful model for others who may want to develop a similar program.
