Abstract:
A new method of heat adaptation for the Mastique laminate veneer restoration has been described. This technique is substantially quicker and easier to employ than the old method of boiling. It also has the advantage of permitting greater control since each veneer is individually molded. While this technique has not been attempted with veneers made by other manufacturers, it appears that the basic principles will, nonetheless, apply.
