Modern resorbent materials are perhaps still not ideal in every respect. Resorbent fibers are an alternative to the non-resorbent synthetic materials and to Barraquer silk, as the author points out with reference to results of operations carried out during the last three years at the ophthalmological clinic in Aarau.
