[Neurosurgical treatment variants of rheumatogenic dislocation of the occipito-cervical transition]

Part of the rheumatogenic suboccipital subluxations are associated with mainly progressive neurological deficiencies involving the danger of a brain-stem irrigation with a sudden lethal outcome. On the basis of the author's casuistics (three cases), the problem of a surgical treatment is discussed.
