Summary

This study shows that combining rabbit antithymocyte globulin (RATG) with donor bone marrow (BM) can lead to long-term acceptance of incompatible kidney transplants in nonhuman primates without chronic immunosuppression (CI). This breakthrough offers hope for future human transplantation tolerance.
