Secondary malignant melanoma arising in a contralateral thigh donor site

A case is reported in which a malignant melanoma appeared in a split-skin graft donor site on the contralateral thigh despite the fact that there had been an interval of 1 week between the excision of the primary tumour and the harvesting of the split-skin graft.
