Abstract:

The author studied the UV spectra of the bases and pyrimidine sequences of DNA after separation in thin layers of cellulose, and calculated the coefficients permitting the determination of nucleotide and isoplith composition of DNA from UV light reflection during thin-layer chromatogram scanning.
