Resurfacing the sole: long-term follow-up and comparison of techniques

It has been hoped that this study would determine the ideal solution to resurfacing the sole of the foot. Instead it showed that the problem is greater than expected and previously described, that no solution is ideal and that weight-bearing on all resurfaced areas will be avoided by the patient wherever possible.
