Abstract:
Potential uses and efficacies of prostaglandins in the control of the swine estrous cycle, the induction of farrowing and abortion, and the treatment of ovarian diseases, anestrus, and low libido are presented. The dosages, relative efficacies, and adverse effects of the commercially available prostaglandin compounds are also discussed.
