    Abstract:

The author analyzes the sonographic patterns of 14 superficial benign lipomas. Echogenicity ranges from hypoechogenicity with distal sound enhancement to isoechogenicity with the possibility of hyperechoic areas. 50% of the lipomas of this series were ill-defined from the surrounding fatty soft-tissues.

    Ultrasonography

Ultrasonography is an imaging technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to visualize the body's internal structures. It is a non-invasive and safe procedure that does not involve the use of ionizing radiation, making it widely used in various medical fields. Ultrasonography is used to study heart function, blood flow in the neck or extremities, certain conditions such as gallbladder disease, and fetal growth and development.

    Skin Cancer

Skin cancer is a type of cancer that occurs when there is an abnormal growth of skin cells, usually triggered by damage to the DNA within the skin cells. It is primarily caused by exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun or artificial sources like tanning beds. Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer worldwide, and its incidence continues to rise.
