[Mitomycin C: current status of knowledge and use in laryngeal tumors]

The Mitomycin are a family of antibiotics useful in the treatment of breast, lung, stomach, colorectal and other solid tumours. One member of the family, MC (Mitomycin C) is examined and the present biochemical, physiological, microbiological, pharmacological and clinical knowledge of the drug and its use in laryngeal tumours is reviewed.
