Summary

Electron microscopy has not identified specific liver changes for non-A-non-B hepatitis in humans. While intranuclear particles are observed in humans and chimpanzees, they are unspecific, and characteristic cytoplasmic changes seen in chimpanzees are absent in human liver tissue.
