[Determination of the thrombocyte count in platelet-rich plasma]

A method is described according to which the number of thrombocytes may be calculated from the optical density of plasma enriched with platelets. The accuracy of the method is ensured by statistical calculations. Citrate venous blood of 60 surgical patients was used for the measurements.
