[Specialized care for patients with an embolism of the main arteries]

The article analyzes results of the treatment of 54 patients with embolism of bifurcation of the aorta and large arteries of the extremities. Fourty five patients were operated upon, nine were treated conservatively. Two of the operated patients died. In conservative treatment three patients died. A specialized movable team of physicians-angiologists can shorten the preoperative period and improve the results of the treatment.
