    Summary

    Patients with liver cirrhosis show mild left ventricular (LV) enlargement and increased systolic performance. Echocardiography revealed reduced peripheral resistance and altered systolic time intervals in these patients.

    Background:

    • Liver cirrhosis can affect cardiovascular function.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate left ventricular (LV) size and systolic function in patients with liver cirrhosis.
    • To assess hemodynamic parameters including peripheral resistance and systolic time intervals.
