Microporosity in bis-glycidyl methacrylate films

Abstract:
The existence of hitherto unsuspected micropores in fissure sealant films (bis-glycidyl methacrylate resin films) has been demonstrated by means of scanning electron microscopy. Immersion of specimens in various ionic solutions showed that the defects in the surface of the resin film tended to become filled with the passage of time.
