Report on a 17-year-old patient with a rare hereditary palmoplantar keratoderma with associated symptoms (Bureau-Barrière-Thomas-Syndrome). All marks of this disease were present except the X-ray findings. The presented case has to be accepted as a minor variation of the syndrome. The delimination of this disease versus pachydermoperiostosis is significant.
