    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the effect of hypercalcemia on renal function in patients with different underlying conditions.
    • To compare the renal response to hypercalcemia in primary hyperparathyroidism versus other causes.

    • Retrospective study of 13 patients with hypercalcemia from various causes (primary hyperparathyroidism, sarcoidosis, vitamin D intoxication, lymphoma, leukemia).
