    Summary

    Sudden cardiac death in young athletes can be caused by anomalous coronary arteries. Exercise may trigger flap-like closure of the left coronary artery, leading to fatal myocardial ischemia.

    • Understanding the mechanism of exercise-induced coronary artery obstruction is crucial for risk stratification and prevention.
