    Background:

    • The prognostic independence of stage and grade in prostatic carcinoma remains debated.
    • Previous studies faced challenges with subjective grading and lack of scalar measures.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To quantitate the relationship between stage and grade in prostatic adenocarcinoma.
    • To determine if stage and grade are independent predictors of survival.

    Main Methods:

    • Point-counting morphometry was used to assess glandular differentiation in 90 prostatic adenocarcinoma cases.
    • Retrospective analysis of patient records for stage and follow-up data.

    Main Results:

    • Stage and morphometric grade were inversely correlated (p < 0.001).
