The india ink injection technique to assess the depth of experimental burn wounds

A detailed description of the India ink injection technique for assessment of experimental burn wound depth is presented with emphasis upon special technical manipulations. Assessment of the burn depth is mandatory for the establishment of a burn wound model as well as to reproduce consistent data among different investigators.
