    Summary

    The Hunter IVC balloon offers a safe and effective transvenous alternative for inferior vena cava (IVC) interruption in patients with venous thromboembolism. This method effectively prevents pulmonary embolism with acceptable leg morbidity and excellent long-term outcomes.

    Background:
