|September 1, 1984
We describe a patient who had an intraluminal thrombus arising from a kink at the distal end of a carotid aneurysm. He had suffered two strokes both treated with heparin prior to surgery. His carotid aneurysm was replaced using saphenous vein placed over a Javid shunt.
