Recurrent intermittent small bowel obstruction due to carcinoid tumor

We encountered an unusual case of carcinoid tumor of the terminal ileum with intermittent recurrent small bowel obstruction of seven years' duration rather than the usual presentation of chronic progressive obstruction.
