Abstract:
Bilateral torsion of the testis in the neonate is a rare event and its pathogenesis is still unknown. Because of the seriousness of the outcome it represents a condition that requires prompt recognition. A case of bilateral torsion of the spermatic cord in the newborn with subsequent bilateral orchidectomy is presented.
