Different oestrogenic responses of ICR, B6D2F1 and B6C3F1 mice given diethylstilboestrol orally
Abstract:
Immature female ICR, B6D2F1 and B6C3F1 mice were each given a total of 0.1 microgram diethylstilboestrol (DES) by stomach intubation over 4 days. Using uterine weight as a measure of oestrogenic response, it was found that the two inbred strains were significantly more sensitive than the ICR mice to DES.
