[Professional ethics and occupational medicine]

The function of the industrial physician have been suggested in many documents elaborated for this purpose by OMS, BIT, CEE. The fundamental aim of the industrial physician is to protect workers health against any damage occurring from work or from conditions of working. This required him specific duties and responsibilities towards workers and industry, therefore his professional relationships are differentiate, beyond some aspects, from those of the other doctors. However each of his action must be full of fundamental ethic rules of the medical deontology without neglecting those rules of conducts which are properly of his precise activity.
