[Polypoid eosinophilic granuloma of the small intestine (author's transl)]
Abstract:
The case of a circumscribed polypoid eosinophilic granuloma of the small intestine is reported. The tumor caused an intussusception with consecutive ileus. After resection of the involved bowels the patient was healed. No allergic history was found. The morphology, clinical features, and the therapy of this type of tumor is discussed and the relationship to the Histocytosis X is emphasized.
