Computergraphics: an introduction to the technology

During the past few years computergraphics applications have increased their impact upon the field of biocommunication. An understanding of the potential capabilities and limitations of this technology is needed now to enable the biocommunicator to prepare for what is to come. This paper is a brief introduction to the functions of the basic components found in the type of computergraphics systems generally used in the biocommunication environment.
