Abstract:
Experiments on 20 rabbits were made to explore the fluorescent properties of a water-soluble drug pyrroloindolysin administered to the blood vessels. The fluorescent spectra were excited in the UV spectrum. The drug was rapidly accumulated by the heart, with the fluorescence being mainly seen in the structures of the interatrial septum. The data obtained point to the possibility of the use of the described method for fluorescent studies of the different parts and structures of the heart.
