Nummularogenin, a new spirostane from Zizyphus nummularia
Researchers isolated a new compound, nummularogenin, from the Zizyphus nummularia plant. This novel (25 S)-spirostane derivative, (25 S)-3 alpha-hydroxy-5 alpha-spirostane-2, 12-dione, was fully characterized.
