An articulated model for preparing nursing administrators
Abstract:
Believing that management-related content belongs in every curricular level and that preparation for executive-level management should be at the post-masters level, the faculty at Wayne State College of Nursing developed a four-level, articulated model for the preparation of nurses in management science. This article discusses the evolution of this model with particular attention given to the 1-year, post-masters program in executive-level administration.
