[Possibilities of prostaglandin administration for induction of labor]

Different methods of induction of labour by intravenous, oral, intramuscular or local application of prostaglandin are described. Initial dose and dosis schedule are shown in tables. Advantages and disadvantages of possible mode and localization of application are discussed. Very good results are shown for a new pericervical medication of a PGE2-soluble fixed on the unfavourable cervix uteri by a portio adapter.
