    Background:

    • Common cold symptoms are frequently reported.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the association between self-reported cold symptoms and Pi types.
    • To quantify the genetic contribution to cold symptom variance.

    Main Methods:

    • Study included 84 pairs of identical twins.
    • Self-reported cold symptoms were recorded.
    • Associations with different Pi types (MM, MS, MZ) were analyzed.
