    Summary

    Computed tomography (CT) can non-invasively diagnose heart conditions. This study shows CT with contrast enhancement can detect myocardial infarction and aid in assessing ischemic heart disease.

    • To evaluate the role of cardiac CT in detecting and quantifying acute myocardial infarction in human patients.

    • Assessed 10 patients with recent myocardial infarction using biochemical and electrocardiographic evidence.
