An extended circumareolar incision for breast augmentation and gynecomastia
Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
|January 1, 1983
Abstract:
A modification of the standard periareolar incision is described. It provides better access for augmentation mammoplasty and gynecomastia, as well as allowing for correction of asymmetry in the size and siting of the nipple-areola complex. Finally, it achieves a very slight tightening of the skin envelope in cases of minor skin laxity.
