Parkinsonism: improvement by electroconvulsive therapy.

    Summary

    Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) significantly improved gait and balance in a patient with parkinsonism resistant to medication. This suggests ECT may be a viable treatment option for parkinsonism by enhancing neurotransmission.
