Safe disposal of some commonly used injectable antineoplastic drugs

The disposal of unrequired, injectable antineoplastic drugs in hospital pharmacy departments has recently become a growing problem. In 1981, the manufacturers of these preparations were asked to provide advice on the disposal of their product(s). This article is a summary of the recommendations received from the manufacturers.
