    • To analyze the long-term efficacy and outcomes of the tack operation for idiopathic endolymphatic hydrops.
    • To evaluate vertigo control and hearing changes following the tack procedure.

    • Retrospective analysis of two patient groups (140 in Group I, 128 in Group II) undergoing tack operations.
    • Long-term follow-up (minimum 5 years) assessing vertigo control and hearing status.

    • Vertigo was satisfactorily controlled in 79% of all patients.
    • Hearing was improved or maintained in 66% (Group I) and 60% (Group II).
