[Presence of Caulobacter genus in distilled water]
Abstract:
Schizomycetes have been examined by optical microscope at monochromatic reflected light system, after treatment with a ferrotannic ammoniacal silver solution according to Blenden and Goldberg (1). The bacterial preparations appeared to contain some cellular forms which because of their morphology, could belong to the family Caulobacteriaceae. Further investigations showed that these Caulobacters derived from the distilled water used to prepare the solutions.
