[Modeling the dose-effect relationship for cell populations exposed to ionizing radiation of differing quality]

In simulating the reaction of an individual cell to the effect of a definite quantity of radiation energy, with due regard for a probability distribution of the energy absorbed among cells, we have obtained a formulae for the survival rate of the exposed population. It was shown that the formulae obtained can well describe the RBE, the oxygen effect and chemical modification of the cell response.
