"Cephalomalacia obfuscate," a fourth generation cephalosporin

A new fourth generation cephalosporin, cephalomalacia obfuscate, has been synthesized. Limited testing has shown this new class of antibiotic to have substantially greater bacteriopathic properties than the third generation antibiotics. The role that these properties may play in host defense is discussed.
