Abstract:
In x-ray examination of the operated stomach, interruption of the motoric function yields additional information. Hence, the authors urgently recommend to initiate hypotonia besides employing the double-contrast method as first routine examination, in order to recognise any possible organic changes. Considerable improvement of diagnostic accuracy can be achieved by using suitable positive and negative contrast media in association with hypotonia.
