[Indications for emergency operations in profuse peptic ulcer hemorrhage]

Lethality from ulcerous hemorrhages is analyzed at periods with different surgical activity. The attraction of active surgical tactics allowed to reduce lethality among the operated patients from 19% (1958-1962) to 2,4% (1968-1982).
