    Background:

    • Adriamycin (ADM) is a chemotherapy agent with known cardiotoxic potential.
    • Cardiomyopathy is a serious side effect of ADM treatment.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the correlation between electrocardiographic (ECG) changes and the development of congestive heart failure (CHF) in patients receiving ADM.
    • To identify a potential predictive marker for ADM-induced cardiomyopathy.

    Main Methods:

    • Analysis of electrocardiographic limb lead QRS voltage in patients undergoing ADM treatment.
    • Correlation of a significant decrease in QRS voltage (>= 30%) with the incidence of CHF.
