    Background:

    • Central serous choroidopathy (CSC) is an idiopathic condition characterized by serous detachment of the neurosensory retina.
    • While CSC is typically associated with younger males and stress, its occurrence during pregnancy is infrequent.

    Observation:

    • Three pregnant women presented with serous detachment of the macula during their pregnancies.
    • The condition manifested as a visual disturbance affecting central vision.

    Findings:

    • All three patients experienced spontaneous resolution of the macular serous detachment by the third trimester of pregnancy.
    • Postpartum, all symptoms completely resolved, leaving residual retinal pigment epithelial mottling.

    Implications:

    • This suggests that pregnancy-related CSC may have a distinct pathophysiology and a generally favorable prognosis.
    • Further research is needed to understand the specific triggers and management of CSC in pregnant individuals.
