Abstract:
Child abuse is well recognized by most primary care physicians, radiologists, and forensic pathologists. However, the surgical pathologist may also become involved in child abuse cases. This is illustrated by two cases. In addition to recognition of child abuse, the surgical pathologist must be aware of his legal responsibilities.
