    Summary

    Arthroscopic meniscectomy offers athletes a good outcome with a quick recovery. However, strenuous activity post-partial meniscectomy may risk meniscus remnant retears.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • Twenty arthroscopic meniscectomies (9 total, 11 partial) were performed on 19 elite athletes (mean age 24).
    • Procedures addressed 12 medial and 8 lateral meniscus lesions using an anterior midline approach and triangulation technique.
