[The value of diagnostic measures in erythema nodosum]

This article summarized the findings of check-ups of all our in-patients suffering from erythema nodosum during the past 15 years. A critical review showed that a third of the cases could not be etiologically defined. Based on our results and according to literature, we discuss the valence of diagnostic procedures in erythema nodosum patients without any history or physical evidence of underlying diseases.
